Step 1 - Design Consultation

Designing your dream kitchen, bathroom or laundry is our passion and at MTR we want to make it as easy as possible to achieve stunning results no matter what budget you are working with. We pride ourselves on providing design solutions that will exceed your expectations and work closely with you to understand how you utilise your spaces and which design features will benefit you.

Our design process begins with a one-hour consultation in our showroom with our own fully qualified Interior Designer with the option of an on-site meeting should you be renovating an existing home.

During this consultation we will assess the space, give advice regarding spatial planning, colours and finishes. Budget will be considered, and we will answer any queries you may have regarding products or materials. We will detail how you utilise the space, offering advice and solutions to enhance the overall design.

We understand that there are many things to consider when planning your space and suggest that you take a moment to look over the following checklists which include many of the design considerations we will discuss during your consultation. It is also helpful to bring along any inspirational images you have collected so that we can work together to achieve the look and feel you are after.

Step 2 - Design & Quotation

Now that we have established what you are hoping to achieve our design team will finalise a bespoke design concept for your space/s in accordance with your brief and your budget.

We then invite you back to our showroom for a visual presentation of the concept so that we can walk you through the solution/s and the quotation in detail. This consultation allows us to make any necessary changes should you have any and finalise your choice of materials and finishes.

A deposit will be payable after this meeting so that we can commence work on your project which includes detailed drawings and finalisation of the concept and finishes.

Step 3 - Final Site Measure

A final measure of the site will be undertaken to ensure that every element of the manufacturing process is 100% accurate.

Once this has been completed you will be required to make a progress payment of 25% and we will advise an anticipated delivery date if this has not already been specified by you. Our standard delivery time frame is 6-8 weeks however this is a guide only and is subject to change.

Once your final drawings have been approved we will begin manufacturing your project. A third invoice for 50% of the total will be issued just prior to completion of the manufacturing.

Step 4 - Installation & Delivery

This is the most exciting part of the process! Our team will arrive on the designated delivery date to install your design. The balance of your account will now be required. Our site manager will be in attendance to ensure that the highest standards are maintained and that your vision becomes a stunning reality. A quality inspection will be conducted, and your handover will be complete.

There is nothing left to do but enjoy your beautiful bespoke design safe in the knowledge that it has been designed specifically to meet your needs and aesthetic.
